Are your products vegan and cruelty free?
The Nail Designer™ uses only the highest quality products that are 100% vegan and animal cruelty free assured. Biodegradable glitters are also used where possible.
How do I book?
Go to our booking page Make An Appointment.
If you’re a returning client, please ‘LOG IN’ to continue with your booking with the email and password you used to create your account.
If you’re a new client, select the treatment required ensuring you’ve ticked any necessary add ons such as nail art/removal/strengthening treatment as the system will calculate the time needed and find an available slot.
If it is your first time with The Nail Designer™ please add New Client Consultation so you can answer a few health questions.

Enter your full name, mobile number and email address. These are used for confirmation and an appointment reminders only – no spam! Make sure you check your junk/spam folder for these.
From the confirmation page, you can add the appointment into either iCal, Outlook or Google. I also ask that you ‘REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT’ as this will collate all your bookings, making it easier for you to check, amend, reschedule or cancel an appointment.
Why can't I see any availability?
It’s likely the diary is fully booked, however you could try getting in touch to see if a slot can be found.

What's your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or wish to move an appointment, please give at least 48 hours’ notice or you will be charged 50% of the appointment fee. No shows are charged 100% of the appointment fee. Repeat offenders will be banned from online bookings.
Up to 10 minutes late may mean a service change however if you are over 15 minutes late for your appointment, there is no guarantee the service can continue.
Do you have an age restriction?
No treatments are provided to anyone under the age of 16.
What's your repair policy?
Any repair needed due to a result of application is free of charge. Gel chip repair is charged at £6, and extension at £12.
Is Gel applied with a Base Coat?
FOUNDATION GEL is a new technology for gel adhesion. It is designed to create the bond between the Structure Gel and the natural nail plate. There is no primer necessary in this system.
Do you use a Top Coat with Gel?
GEL TOP COAT, is a soak off top coat that seals the Gel Polish. It cures under UV and has a long lasting high shine.
How do you remove Gel?
This product will soak off in 10 – 15 minutes. Lightly file over the top of the surface with a 180 grit file, apply a SOAK OFF GEL REMOVER to a cotton ball and place on the nail. Wrap the nail with foil and allow the nail to soak for 10 – 15 minutes. Then rub off the nail.
If you have used a structure gel to build the nail, this might take additional time.
Does Gel cause any chemical damage to the natural nail?
This system uses only a pH balancing agent to stabilize the moisture level of the nail. Then the FOUNDATION Gel has adhesive properties that attract to the keratin in the natural nail, not causing any depletion, only acting as a 2 sided tape to adhere the Gel or Gel polish to the nail itself.
